The following terms and conditions (referred to as "Terms" or "Agreement") apply to the ScanTap mobile application (referred to as the "Application") and all content, information, services, and products provided through the application (collectively referred to as "ScanTap" or "Services").

ScanTap reserves the right to modify, cancel, add, or replace any of these Terms at any time without prior notice. The updated Terms will be legally binding on all users and registered members of ScanTap. Therefore, we recommend that you review this page regularly. By continuing to use ScanTap after any revisions to the Terms, you agree to the updated Terms. Using ScanTap or registering as a member constitutes your acceptance of these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully as they form a legally binding agreement between you and ScanTap.

Privacy Policy

  • 1.1 By using ScanTap, you are required to read and agree to our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated as part of these Terms and also applies to your access to and use of the Services.
  • 1.2 ScanTap respects your ownership of your own content. All rights not expressly granted to us are retained by you. ScanTap does not claim ownership of your content.

User License

  • 2.1 Subject to your compliance with these Terms, ScanTap grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable limited license to access and use the platform services solely for the purposes explicitly stated in these Terms.
  • 2.2 These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights of ScanTap or any third party to you. All rights, ownership, and interests remain with the respective owners.

Payments

  • 3.1 Certain services or features may require payment. You will have the opportunity to view and accept applicable fees before making a payment.
  • 3.2 ScanTap reserves the right to change service prices. We make reasonable efforts to ensure that pricing information within the application is up-to-date. We recommend you regularly check the application for the latest pricing information.
  • 3.3 You agree to pay fees through the designated payment method and comply with the associated terms of service (e.g., Google Play or Apple App Store payment terms). ScanTap is not responsible for transactions processed by third-party payment providers, including any additional expenses incurred due to exchange rates, taxes, or other fees.
  • 3.4 All purchases may include taxes or additional charges, which are to be borne by you. We may calculate taxes based on the information you provide during the purchase process.

Restrictions on User Conduct

  • 4.1 Unless permitted by applicable law, you may not:
    • Copy, distribute, publicly display, or perform any part of the Services;
    • Modify the Services;
    • Interfere with or circumvent any security or access control mechanisms of the Services.
  • 4.2 You may not alter the platform in any way or access the platform using unauthorized methods (e.g., bots, web crawlers, or other automated tools).
  • 4.3 If applicable law prohibits your use of the Services, you may not use ScanTap.

Disclaimer

  • 5.1 ScanTap makes continuous efforts to ensure optimal performance of the Services, but you agree to bear all risks associated with using the Services and relying on its content.
  • 5.2 The Services and all content are provided "as is." ScanTap makes no express or implied warranties regarding their suitability, reliability, error-free nature, or uninterrupted availability. You understand and agree that you bear all risks and responsibilities for any damage to your devices or data loss caused by your use of ScanTap or downloaded content.
  • 5.3 ScanTap is not liable for service disruptions caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, fires, wars, labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, or governmental actions.

Accounts

6.1 Currently, ScanTap does not provide an account system.

Changes

  • 7.1 ScanTap reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time and will publish the updated Terms within the application. We recommend that you regularly review updates to the Terms.
  • 7.2 If significant changes are made to the Terms, we will provide notification within the application or via email. By continuing to use the Services after the Terms have been updated, you agree to the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Services and close your account (if applicable).
